Bhopal. Anurag Jain, the new Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh, has taken charge on October 3, the first day of Navratri. From today, he will take charge as the 35th Chief Secretary of the state. His tenure will be till August 2025. Anurag Jain was given the responsibility of Chief Secretary after a day-long administrative upheaval on Monday (September 30). Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav gave his consent to his name. After which 1989 batch IAS officer Anurag Jain was appointed as the new Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh.
