Mumbai. The suspense over the Chief Minister in Maharashtra has finally come to an end. The new government will be formed today, 13 days after the election results. Devendra Fadnavis was elected leader in an important meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Party. Devendra Fadnavis will take oath as Chief Minister for the third time. At the same time, NCP leader Ajit Pawar will become Deputy CM for the sixth time. Shiv Sena leader Eknath Shinde will also take oath as Deputy Chief Minister. The swearing-in ceremony will take place at Azad Maidan in Mumbai at 5:30 pm today.
