Mumbai. Veteran industrialist and honorary chairman of Tata Group Ratan Tata has died at the age of 86. He breathed his last in Mumbai. Earlier on Monday, he was admitted to the hospital for a health checkup. Later he himself denied the claims of being admitted to the ICU. However, on Wednesday he was once again admitted to the hospital where he died. Ratan Tata led the Tata Group as the chairman of Tata Sons, a company that manufactures everything from salt to software, from March 1991 to December 2012. Tata was born on December 28, 1937. He was the son of Naval Tata, the adopted grandson of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Tata.
